About

The Weston Ranch Foundation was established to enrich the lives of local residents, students, and other stakeholders for generations to come. We are focused on expanding our knowledge about our Natural Capital to help protect native habitats and wildlife populations. We strive to increase Social Capital by collaborating with higher education institutions, promoting environmental awareness, and educating the local community.

Natural Capital

The Weston Ranch Foundation is a working ranch with over 4,200 acres in the Blackland Prairie region of Texas between Austin and San Antonio.

Human Capital

The Weston Ranch Foundation is collaborating with faculty and students from Texas Lutheran University, the University of Texas at San Antonio, and other universities to better understand our Natural Capital and to support the teaching missions of the universities.

Social Capital

Our goal is to share our resources and knowledge with our neighbors and community. This is how we will increase Social Capital for our communities.

The Weston Ranch is located at the asterisk in the map, in the southern Blackland Prairie region of Texas, between San Antonio and Austin.
